| Is CS Finally Dead?
After almost 5 years the Creamery CS server is being taken offline for good. It will be able to be switched on for special events and Gaytrocites, but it will remain offline in general. We will have 1.5 and 1.6 versions (or the current equivalent) ready on stand-by. Here’s the deal: The game and web servers are being moved from their current location to Mr. Tickle’s home. He has upgraded his connection to a pretty fat pipe. Although the connection is ample for one game server, having multiple servers running will probably cause ‘chunderage.’ The Desert Combat mod for BF1942 will be the only running server at this time. With this being run out of his home, I ask that all support requests (questions, complaints, etc.) regarding the website, the servers, or anything else Creamery related should go through me (Cattle) first. We must keep the intrusion into TMC’s pimp-life minimal. My pimp-life, on the other hand, should be intruded regularly with proper lubrication. Things are still falling into place as far as the relocation, but as it stands now the DC server is running. We still may experience website/email outages in the next few weeks. Eventually we will have DC stats and other fancy balls-and-whistles running as well. The website will need to go through some changes to accommodate this shift, if any of you guys have any ideas or want to help out with art or design, please let me know. I think we need a “banker’s guide to cheating” banner ad real soon. That is all for now. |
